The Slim Sleeve Wallet by Bellroy is wallet with all the benefits of a card holder and of a wallet. It has a very slim and simple design. Bellroy’s tagline for this product is ‘Slim design to reduce pocket bulk’, which ain’t a lie.

Design

The wallet has a soft feel. Bellroy claims to only use premium top-grain leathers which are tanned under environmental protocols and then dyed through. This will give your wallet a better look through time.

The product is packaged in a cardboard envelope with stitching on the side. All products are packaged that way. It’s not really a high-end way of packaging, other brands have better packaging.

Quality & finish

Bellroy claims to use only premium top-grain leathers. Although they use premium leathers, it kind of has a plastic-like feeling to it. The finishing of the wallet was qualitative. Nice stitching and card slots, the pull-tab has a nice finish to it.

Storage capacity

The inside of the wallet consists of 2 quick access card slots for your frequently used cards, 1 card slot with a pull-tab to store your other cards together and 1 compartment for your folded bills. The wallet measures a nice 80 mm x 95 mm.

Bellroy claims that this wallet can store more than 12 cards. I found it hard to fit more than 7 cards in the card slot with pull-tab. So I would recommend 9 cards.

Features

The special feature of this wallet is the pull-tab to extract easily the cards from the card slot for multiple cards. Very convenient, and also very easy to use.

Usability

As stated above, it’s a very easy to use wallet. Also with all the space for cards, it’s a very convenient wallet. All cards are nicely reachable and easy to obtain.

Innovation

The true innovation of this wallet, as is referred to in its name, is the slimness of this wallet. Although it can store up to a decent amount of cards, the wallet is not bulky. In its design, it stays rather slim, even when stacked to full capacity.

Final verdict

This is a nice wallet. It’s a daily use wallet without the bulky effect. It’s stylish and simple in its design. I recommend this wallet for the man who searches for a daily use wallet who doesn’t have more than 10 cards to take along.
