Travel Passport Wallet by Dash Review

Back in September I reviewed the Dash 3.0 card holder. As I found it was an interesting product I wanted to review another product of their range. I chose to review their passport wallet as my next one.

Design

The packaging is quite similar to the small version. There’s only another drawing on the front of the packaging. As said in the previous review, this is all adding to the coolness of this brand. They’re very on trend for the moment.

The product looks very similar to the 3.0 wallet. It has the same aesthetic and you directly see they’re from the same brand. The structure of the ‘leather’ is much more leather-like and it does feel more like leather.

Quality & Finish

As said above, their leather aren’t real leathers but premium microfiber leather canvases with a print. For this product this is very much like real leather. Their ‘fake leather’ is durable, weatherproof, 100% vegan and eco-friendly! What more do you want?

The finishing of this product is also impeccable. No loose threads, smooth edges, clean cuts, … The only thing that bothers me a bit is, as mentioned in the review of the 3.0, quite a strong chemical smell. But it diminishes and disappears when you use the wallet.

Storage Capacity

This passport wallet is very thin for the amount of stuff it can hold: up to 4 cards, cash, receipts, notes and your passport off course! This is a very handy travel compagnon.

Features

The main feature is the accomplished slimness of this passport wallet. Normally this kind of product are rather thick or unhandy to use. But this one is so slim and minimal, you can easily carry it in one of your pockets without it getting too bulky.

Usability

This passport sleeve is very easy to use. The oblique card slots and money slot are extremely usefull. You easily extract your cards or money from them. The passport slot is lined with a velvet fabric, so your passport can be tucked away without wear and tear.

Innovation

The innovation is truly the slimness of this passport wallet. Normally this kind of product is on the chunky side of the wallet spectrum, but the Passport Wallet of Dash is extremely thin and minimal.

Final verdict

If you’re looking for the perfect minimal travel compagnon, that can take everything you need, but don’t have excess space, than this is the passport sleeve you need! At the very reasonable price of $24.95 this one won’t disappoint you!
