For this NOPI card holder the beauty lies in its simplicity. It can hold up to eight cards and folded bills. It has a very appealing sleek style with subtle curves, painted edges and an embossed logo. It can hold all currencies. The card holder also has two quick access pockets in the back. This is a very simplified product with no extra zips and pull tabs.

This special wallet caught our eye thanks to its innovative concept and poppy colors. Empty, the wallet only has a thickness of 2 mm. It’s made of a non-specified very resistant material. And it comes in four original and colorful graphic designs: ‘Let’s Surf’, ‘Knots’, ‘Hang Loose’ and ‘Logo’. It has two slots in the front of the wallet when you open it, where you can store two cards. It also contains two note compartments where you can store bills and cards.

Vegan Mushroom Leather Wallets by Stephen Sprites

Surprising!

This Kickstarter Wallet Project must be the most surprising project of 2018 so far! The creator promises you a vegan, animal friendly leather wallet made from mushroom leather, while the inside is made from banana leather. He also states he’s been making wallets since 6 years. Normally he uses animal leathers, but recently he started experimenting with mushroom leather.

The benefits of mushroom leather are slightly stretchy, soft, warm and attractive. It is made without animal products, it has anti-bacterial properties when it comes in contact with your skin, it is transpiring and non-toxic.

In combination with this vegetable outside leather, the inside consists of a tough fiber made from banana. It contains three card slots, a coin pocket, in which the coins are boxed in thanks to its unusual shape and room for bills. (This information is partially taken from the photographs as the creator didn’t state it clearly in his Kickstarter description.)

JP Leathercraft Handmade Leather Goods by Jose Pirul

This Kickstarter project caught my eye because of the handmade nature of it. The creator Jose Pirul is making all of the items in his home in New Jersey. In the video he greets you from his work station.

The product that interests me the most is the MINUS Minimalist Wallet. This product is designed for the minimalist that only carries the essentials. This card holder can hold 2-4 cards. Thanks to the strap on the back it can also carry cash and notes.

The other interesting product is the PARVUS Minimalist Wallet. This is the bigger brother of the MINUS. It can carry 2-3 cards per slot, so 4-6 cards in total. It also has the strap on the back for bills or notes.

Our honourable mention of this month is the SUPRA TAG, the tool box in your wallet! This product is a credit card shaped multitool that fits right into your wallet or pocket. Very practical!
