The look of this wallet is one of simplicity. Not much features, but this enhances its desirability. It’s a nice touch that their slogan is also embossed in the leather, it’s a nice touch. On the back there’s also a big logo of Ideal & Co embossed in the leather. If you’re not keen on big logo’s, then this might be not your cup of tea, although it’s rather subtle and has a vintage feel to it.

The card holder is packaged in a bag with a drawstring closure. Their tag line is embossed in a leather piece attached to the bag. It suits the overall image of the card holder.

Quality & finish

The leather used for the Viegas card case is a soft vegetable tanned leather. Ideal & Co uses the best Portuguese leathers. They use only vegetable-tanned leathers which gain a nice patine after usage.

The Viegas card wallet consists of two compartments, a main and a front one. In the main compartment you can easily store up to 3 cards, as of 4 cards it becomes more difficult to slide them in. You can also store your folded bank notes in this compartment.
The front compartment is recommended to use for your cards you need easy access to. You can store up to 2 cards in this compartment.

The Viegas card holder doesn’t have much features. Two compartments in a good quality leather with stitches on the side and some embossed text.

Usability

It’s a very straightforward card holder. Two compartments to store cards. Because of the sturdy leather it’ll take some time to break in the leather and get the holder to full storage capacity.

There ain’t much innovation to this product. It’s a decent, simple card holder.

Final verdict

Is the Viegas card holder the product I would buy? For the price of 40€ you can get other wallets with more features and more storage. Although the quality and simple design is appealing, I would say probably not.
