The solution to a problem part 2

As you could read in a previous review, I already was positive of the A1 card holder by Obstructures. Hence I also wanted to test one of their other variants of their wallet range. Let me introduce the A2+1 wallet. The same system as the A1: metal plates and two rubber rings, the A2+1 has three metal plates instead of one, for more storage space.

Design

The design is a bit more complicated than the A1. It’s built of three metal plates with two rubber rings. It has an industrial look and feel to it, thanks to the three metal plates in anodized aluminum and two rubber rings (the packaging includes two spare rubber rings).

The packaging is the same as with the A1, and as you could read in that review, it can count on my approval. It’s consistent and innovative!

Quality & finish

The quality and finish is quite consistent with the A1 card holder. It’s made of three metal plates and two rubber rings which seems very qualitative.

Storage capacity

You have two spaces between the plates to store your cards and trifolded bank notes. I tested the amount of cards that can be inserted, and I came up to 10 cards in each compartment at the same time. You can also use the space between the plates and the rubbers on the outside to store easy-to-reach cards for frequently use. So you can store a fair amount of cards into this wallet, but I’ll have to warn you that I don’t know the long-term effect on the rubber rings so far. I don’t know if they’ll stretch or not. After the test they didn’t seem affected by the amount of cards.

Features

This card holder also has an integrated bottle opener in two metal plates. As stated before, Obstructures are looking to resolve problems which occur on a daily basis!

Usability

Thanks to the three plates, it’s rather easy to store the cards into the card holder. You open two plates and slide the cards into it. The rubber rings can be slid down for easy opening.

Innovation

As stated in the review of the A1, this is a very distinctive card holder. It’s so different from the other card holders that are on the market this day. It’s not something for everybody, but for some it will be the ultimate card holder.

Final verdict

Although it’s quite industrial and that’s not really my kind of style, I like this wallet. It’s spacious and modern. This is a good wallet if you want an eyecatcher that’s also handy and easy to use.
