The essential magic wallet

The Essenziale Magic Wallet by Garzini is a special kind of wallet. Thanks to the use of the premium genuine leather and the detail of finishing, you know you have a particular wallet in your hands. It has a simple, yet high-end look and feel.

Design

The wallet has a classy, yet modern look, thanks to the square-ish shape and the no-nonsense design. Little details like the embossed logo on the front and a flag-like tab on the side add to the distinguished character. The vintage leather gives the wallet a soft image. You really want to touch the wallet.

The packaging used by this brand suits the high-end air around this wallet. It is a very beautiful box, with an embossed logo on top and a satin ribbon to open it. The wallet comes in six different colours, classic business colours as Carbon Black, Java Brown and Camel Brown and more temporary, fashionable colours like Metal Grey, Sapphire Blue and Olive Green.

Quality & finish

According to the brand’s website they use natural leathers with the bare minimum of finishes. So they can present you the true character of the leathers. Only the finest quality of hides pass the strict selection process of Garzini. The leather used for this wallet is a vintage leather, top-grain buffalo leather with a unique mat finish. Perfect for the urban adventurers with style.

Storage capacity

It can hold up to 16 cards in the 8 card slots, three on the front and the back and two on the inside. The middle one of the three slots on the front is somewhat harder to reach.

Inside you can also insert your money and notes. The wallet uses a special system to keep those items secure.

Features

The wallet uses the magic wallet system, called the Versaflex system by Garzini. It means you can open the wallet from both sides, while the straps in the middle of the wallet keep your notes and belongings safe. When you want to insert your bills, you simply fold them in two, place them in the middle and open the wallet on the other side: your money is securely tucked away under the straps. It’s an ingenious and new way of using your wallet.

All Garzini wallets come with the RFID technology. Shortly stated, it’s to prevent that criminals steal your data from your cards like credit cards, passports, etc. The Essenziale Magic Wallet (and the other products in the Garzini-range) contain an RFID blocking shield, seamlessly integrated into the wallet.

Usability

The wallet is very handy to use. As a magic wallet you can use this wallet for notes with US dollar and Euro size. Thanks to the Versaflex system they are easily stored, and they maintain securely fixed in the wallet.

Most of the slots are easy to reach, except from the middle slot in the front as mentionned before.

Innovation

The Versaflex system is based on the magic wallet system, although it’s safer, as they are specifically engineered. Double stitching along two layers of bonded genuine leather and integrated silk make the straps resistant to tear and wear and make it impossible for your wallet to stretch out, as the brand’s website states. When I use the wallet I must agree with it. At first it seems impossible that the wallet keeps all your notes securely tucked away, but up to date I didn’t lose any money!

Next to the Versaflex, all Garzini models are equipped with RFID technology. This technology protects your cards which uses RFID. Criminals can’t steal your data thanks to this technology. Although more and more brands start with RFID protected wallets, they usually don’t provide it on all their models.

Final verdict

I like this wallet a lot! From its looks (the nice leather, the classy and vibrant colours, the slim design) to its usage (the amount of card slots, the Versaflex system, the size) I’m very pleased by the overall performance of this wallet. It’s one of my favourite wallets of the last months. I would recommend this wallet for sure.
