Keep your pockets slim and your stuff organized!

Some time ago I received a couple of samples from Jaimie Jacobs to review. The first one I’ve chosen to review is the Nano Boy mini wallet. It’s an intriguing card holder-wallet cross-over, that I was eager to look into. It reminded me a bit of the Simple Wallet, but like the upgraded version.

Design

The Nano Boy wallet comes in a cardboard holder that can be folded open. It’s a nicely Jaimie Jacobs-branded packaging with more brand and product information when you open it.

The wallet itself has a very simple design. It’s basically an elastic band with some leather details. Jaimie Jacobs wanted to create a wallet that has been designed to keep your pockets slim and your stuff organized.

Quality & Finish

Jaimie Jacob claims to only use the best materials and premium leather. By using the wallet I must say that the materials are indeed qualitative and pleasant to use. The elastic of the body feels very thick and qualitative. It’s certainly not an elastic that will easily be stretched out and you feel it!
The other band to extract the cards from the holder seems very reliable and sturdy. It gives a safe feeling to store the cards into the compartment hold together by these materials.
There’s also no remarks about the finish. There are literally no flaws.

Storage Capacity

The wallet consists of three compartments. One easy access compartment for your primary cards, one larger compartment with pull-tab to store multiple cards (up to 12) and one separate pocket (integrated in the elastic band) for bills and coins. So it can ultimately hold up to 13 cards.

Features

The main feature is the actual design of the wallet. The compartment with the pull-tab to extract the cards and the easy access compartment is actually created by one ribbon in an ‘S’-shape which also is used as the pull-tab.

Usability

Jaimie Jacobs’ Nano Boy is very easy to use. You easily can slide the card in and out of the compartment for the primary card. The other bigger compartment can contain quite some cards, without the wallet getting bulky or oversized. When extracting the cards, you can easily place them in a fan-shape, so you can easily reach all the cards.

The money pocket is less easy to use, because you have to pick into the pocket to get the money out.

Innovation

The innovation of this wallet is certainly the S-shaped ribbon inside, which forms the two compartments. The pull-tab is the end of this ribbon which makes that you can extract the cards from the wallet.

Final verdict

Jaimie Jacobs Nano Boy ReviewOverall I would say that this is a very qualitative slim and minimalist front pocket wallet. It’s a wallet that won’t get bulky and unhandy to use. It’s very straight-forward and easy! I recommend this card holder by Jaimie Jacobs for people that want to store cards and bills.
