The super slim wallet

The makers of this simple wallet claim it’s the slimmest leather wallet ever made, which may be correct, as it’s basically two strips of leathers stitched together with two elastic bands. The wallet is only 0.8 cm thick, with a total dimension of 6.5 x 10 cm.

Simple Wallet

Design

The design is simple, it’s a square with two elastic bands. The wallet comes in different colours, from black, to blue, red and green and also some color combinations have a striped pattern on the elastic band on the front. It can appeal to a broad variety of people.

Simple Wallet
The packaging however, is less appealing. It’s just a simple paper holder that’s slid into the wallet.

Quality & Finish

The materials seem of good quality. It’s genuine leather as a base with two elastic bands on both sides. After using them I have the feeling that the straps are very qualitative. They don’t stretch out even when I put an excessive amount of cards in it.
On the other hand the stitching of the wallet isn’t that great. You see faults in the stitching they try to cover up, also some stitches are already fraying without heavily using it… I wonder how these will react when using the wallet a certain time.

Storage Capacity

The creators of the wallet state that the wallet can hold an unlimited amount of cards, or up to 20 cards and your cash. In the middle I think you can store up to 3 cards, the rest needs to be stored in the elastic pocket on the front. At the amount of 14 I found it enough, the fifteenth card wasn’t that easy to fit in anymore. I also want to state that inserting the cash bills into the holder isn’t easy. Inside the leather compartment it doesn’t slide in easily, so I tried to push it between the cards, but that didn’t satisfy me neither. The leather pouch is RFID protected so that’s where you need to store your RFID sensitive cards. Probably it needs some breaking in because I didn’t find the compartment very easy to use. The elastic compartment on the other hand is very convenient to use, needless to say why…

Simple Wallet
On the back there’s also an elastic band to store your iPhone, but mine is an iPhone 6 and it’s too big for it. It looks really weird when inserted. On the pictures of the creators, I think they used a 4 which was smaller. Also you can’t use your phone when inserted so it’s quite useless nowadays.

Simple Wallet

Features

The wallet isn’t feature-heavy. It’s rather basic, and the pity is that the feature on the back, the elastic band to hold your phone isn’t working for larger smartphones. But you could use it to store other things, like headphones, or flyers. If you like that look, you could also use it to attach it to your belt.

Simple Wallet

Usability

The front pocket is very user-friendly, as the more cards you store, it stretches. Also picking your cards doesn’t prove to be difficult. The middle compartment on the other hand isn’t that easy to use. It’s very sturdy and probably will need some breaking in. The back elastic band is quite useless as stated above, unless you’ll find an alternative usage for it.

Simple Wallet

Innovation

The innovation in this wallet is indeed that it’s a very slim and supple wallet. It’s minimalistic, but gives a decent amount of storage possibilities.

Final verdict

Simple Wallet

If you’re searching for a decent priced slim wallet with a minimalistic look, then this is a good option for you. Despite the stitching that’s not properly finished everywhere, it’s an appealing card holder/wallet. As a front pocket wallet, is practically invisible. Good value/price ratio!
